EVREINOV, Dr. Irina (Retired Professor, Department of Slavic Languages and Literature - University of Toronto)
Passed away peacefully, after a prolonged illness, at West Park Long- Term Care Centre, Toronto on Sunday, May 30, 2004 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Alex for 56 years. Much loved mother of Olga and her husband Philippe de Heering. Loving 'Babu' of Matthew, Nikita and Xenia. She will be fondly remembered by her many students and extended family in Canada, United States and Europe. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panikhyda Prayers Thursday 7 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Christ the Savior Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 823 Manning Avenue on Friday June 4, 2004 at 10 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada.
