In his 87th year, on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. 'Irv' Paisley, beloved husband of Adele. Loving father and father- in-law of Susan and Elliott Schwartz, Paula and Ira Kuchinsky, Michael and Diane, and Stephen and Hiroko. Dear brother of Gertie Brenner, and the late Peter Paisley, and Anna Apolinsky. Proud grandfather of Richard, Amy, Melissa and David, Amanda, Zachary, Stephanie, Aly, Sam, and Towa. Irv will be remembered for his life long dedication to the community with his involvement in Municipal Politics, Councillor, Controller, and Deputy Mayor of North York, Founding Chairman of York Finch Hospital, Founding Member of Temple Sinai, and Founder of Paisley Manor Insurance. At Temple Sinai, 210 Wilson Avenue for service on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Temple Sinai Section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery.
