IRWIN "Irv" TALLAN On Sunday, July 17, 2022. Irv Tallan, beloved husband of Cheryl (Shayndel). Loving father and father-in-law of Martin Tallan and Mel Lau, David and Tara Tallan, Shauna and Sean Forbes, and Debra and Chris Innes. Dear brother of Norman, and the late Harris Tallan. Devoted grandfather of Jeffrey, Boone, Ian, Toby, Rosie, Sarah, Brian, Daniel, and Nathan. He was an educator to many university students and his children, a collector of books and a longtime volunteer at the UC Book Room. The family would like to thank Dr. Satok for his exceptional care, and Avelino Flauta for his kindness and often going above and beyond the usual PSW services. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue W., (three lights west of Dufferin) for service on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Community section of Pardes Chaim Cemetery.
