Isabelle Dancik 1940-2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Isabelle Dancik (née Isabella Maria Sopata), daughter of Bronislaw Sopata and Antonina Slawuta on Friday, April 22, 2016, in her 77th year. Loving mother of Charles and Robert (Carolyn); sister of Hanna (Frank), Bogdan (Nina) and Wieslaw (Dianne); aunt of Jim, Dorothy, Maggie and Tony (Hanna), Ted and Tammy (Bogdan), Chris and Sean (Wieslaw) and treasured grandmother (Babcia) of Lukas, Markus and Ava. Born in Biala Podlaska, Poland, Isabelle lived from the heart and cherished her loving family and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, May 14, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 2550 Gascon Avenue, Montreal, QC H2K 2W6, phone: 514-523-6368. A service will also be held at the church directly thereafter from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by Isabelle's wish for a celebration at 2:00 p.m. at Stash Cafe, 200 St. Paul Ouest, Vieux Montreal, QC H2Y 1Z9, phone: 514-845-6611, restaurantstashcafe.ca.
