COLES, Rev. J. Shirley (nee Foad),R.N., L.Th.
Died suddenly, in Toronto, on Saturday, March 11, 2000, at the age of 70 years. Dear wife of the late William Cameron Coles. A great loss for her sons John, David and his wife Somaya, Peter and his wife Christine. Proud grandmother of Alexandria and Veronica, Julia, Sarah and Lauren. Dear sister of Pam Ogburn and her husband Mike, aunt of Phillip Ogburn and his wife Lori. Through her family, friendships, and ministry, Shirley was a loving part of many lives and her loss will be deeply felt by many. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a passion for many activities, but took the most joy from spending time with her family at home and at the cherished family cottage in Muskoka. Her warm and quiet manner gave inspiration and comfort to those she ministered to in nursing and in several churches in the Anglican Church, Diocese of Toronto. Friends may meet with the family from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, March 13, at ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, YORK MILLS, 19 Don Ridge Drive, near Yonge and York Mills in Toronto. The service will be held in the church on Tuesday, March 14 at 11 a.m. The family gratefully declines flowers and requests that any donations be made to the charity of your choice.
