HAYNES, J. Paul (1935-2010) Died peacefully at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on March 20, 2010, after a short illness. Beloved husband of 50 years of Jean, father of J. Paul Jr. (Allison) and Peter (Haili), grandfather of Patrick and Georgia, Andrew and Cameron. Predeceased by grandson Matthew and daughter in-law Jane Taylor. Brother of Clare Haynes and brother-in-law of Jan and Doug Chamberlain. Paul was born in Cramahe Township and grew up in Colborne, Ontario. He attended Queen's University and Harvard Law School, later settling in Oakville where he co-founded and was President of Tax Time Services Ltd. He loved all sports but particularly hockey where he coached both house league and rep hockey as well as serving on the executive of the MOHA. Paul's main passion was singing and he was happiest when he had an audience of one or one hundred to hear his version of Frank Sinatra music. A Service of Remembrance celebrating Paul's life will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville at 2:00 p.m. with one hour prior visitation.
