J. HEATLEY Obituary

J. ROBERT HEATLEY It is with profound grief that we announce the death of Bob Heatley on Monday, January 30, 2006. Bob leaves his beloved wife Betty Robertson, his two greatly loved beautiful daughters Beth and Brenda; his loving step-sons Scott and Blaine Robertson, daughterin-law Michelle and his two special granddaughters Jessica and Katrina. Bob also leaves to mourn him his first wife Marilyn, brother Jim Heatley and his wife Helen, his sister Jane Burns and her husband Doug and several nephews and nieces. Bob was born in Toronto on April 19, 1948; worked as a corporate lawyer for both Crown Life and Foresters. After 25 years in Law, he found a new career serving his pet-loving customers at his Pet Valu Store at Bayview and Merton. Besides his family, Bob had a great passion for music. The many hours he spent singing in the Christ Church Deer Park choir brought him true joy. Betty, his family and friends will greatly miss Bob's compassion, his dry wit, and the loving attention and care he gave to them. Bob we love you. A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Deer Park, 1570 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario (416-9205211) on Saturday, February 4 at 3 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
