Passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, December 1, 2009. Beloved and cherished husband of Dorothy and loving father of Randy (Donna) , the late Laurie (Lisa), Barry (Aleta), Danny (Elaine) and Ari (Carla). Devoted and much loved grandfather of Davida, Jacob, Ilana, Alex, Maddie, Tara, Yonatan, Amiela, Davi, Adira, Aviel, Rachel, Jeremy, Benji, Sarah, Allie, Jed, Rosie, Adam and Micah. Dear brother of the late Louis and Rosalie Shiff, the late Esther and Louis Abella, the late Ruth and Max Grad, the late Miriam and Sam Applebaum, Naomi and the late Murray Shiff. Dear brother-in-law of Sammy (Cynthia) Green, and Grace Schelew. An admired uncle and friend. A respected businessman, teacher and philanthropist. Funeral services on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Shaarei Shomayim Synagogue, 470 Glencairn Avenue, Toronto. Shiva 28 Alexandra Wood, Toronto, morning services at 7:00 a.m. and evening services at 4:25 p.m. Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. Shiva concludes on Thursday morning. Donations may be made to the J.
