Jack KLEIN Obituary
KLEIN, Mr. Jack
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Klein on February 14, 2005. Jack was the devoted husband of Estelle, his wife and partner of 54 years who died in June, 2004. He was an extraordinary father and grandfather whose loss leaves an enormous gap in the lives of his son Paul, daughter-in-law Joanne, and grandchildren Sophie and Joshua who lit up his life and gave him a sense of joy that was truly indescribable. Jack leaves his brother Leslie and sister-in-law Alice Klein, sister-in-law and brother-in law Pearl and Steve Dacks, and a small circle of close friends. He was predeceased by his sister Shirley Norris. Professionally, Jack was a nationally respected architect and recipient of the Massey Medal - Canada's highest architectural design honour. Jack was also a gifted watercolour artist and instructor whose paintings will always remind his family and friends of his gentle, playful and creative spirit. Donations in Jack's memory may be made to The ArtsCan Circle (cheques payable to: The Agora Foundation in Trust for The ArtsCan Circle), 1360 Lakeshore Road, Sarnia, Ontario, N7S 2M1.
