Our deepest condolences for your family. We are all so saddened to hear of Jack's passing. It is heartbreaking to hear this news, as we have witnessed the troubles and inconveniences children dealing with cancer have to experience - we have seen this through Alexandra. Though we as a whole didn't know Jack personally, we knew Alex would connect with Piper every so often, alongside, she spent a week at Campfire Circle while he was there as well. We remember Jack along with his sister Piper having so much fun, enjoyment and laughter driving the golf cart with his grandfather Malcolm at Ibis in Florida. He and his sister were enjoying one of many rides to Capacity. He had many happy times in Florida as you will have many happy memories of him as this horrendous and unthinkable tragedy unfolds.

Jack had a calming composed presence about him and was a great influence in my son James´ life. Jack always seemed to live fully in the moment and was an old soul at heart.The boys were always up for any adventure - Jack introduced James to the Don Valley trail rides and thankfully, this got us through COVID. Jack had everything going for him and it´s an awful shame his life was cut so short.

We are extremely saddened and heartbroken by the loss of your son. We learned of Jack's illness through our daughter Sofia, who is a dear friend and roommate of Piper's, where they met at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
When we met Piper and David in Halifax in September, we couldn't imagine Jack struggling with this cruel disease and wondered how his sister and parents were coping with this heartfelt pain. As parents, we can't imagine the devastation. We prayed many times in the hope of a miracle. God chose someone truly special. Jack is your angel who now protects his Bryce and Nixon families.
