Jack William Hanington WINDELER

Jack WINDELER Obituary

JACK WILLIAM
JACK WILLIAM HANINGTON WINDELER Loved and cherished son of Eric Windeler and Sandra Hanington. Big brother to Julia and Ben, grandson to Earl and Norma Hanington and Bill and Jean Windeler, and adored nephew, cousin and friend to countless others. We lost Jack on March 27, 2010 when his first year at university became too much for him and he sought peace instead. Jack was bright and strong minded and in this, as in so many other things, he made his own choice. Jack was known for his quick intelligence, amazing memory, his years on the Ridley College rowing crew, and a quirky sense of humour. A celebration of the 18 years we had with Jack will be held Tuesday, March 30th at the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre from 5 to 8 p.m., and a simple service on Wednesday, March 31st at 11 a.m. at Rosedale Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, we'd prefer to remember Jack through donations in his name to Kids Help Phone to help other kids and their families.
