JACOB GRANOT On Monday, January 21, 2019 at Baycrest. Beloved husband of Aurelia Granot for 60 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Ilit Granot and Steven Finkelstein, Vivi and Stephen Herlick. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Linica and Bernard Moskovitch. Devoted grandfather of Justin and Forrest. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Shiva 18 Lower Village Gate #210. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, 1-800- 616-8816.

An unforgettable friend who helped me and my daughters after the tragic death of my husband. As a work colleague and friend my husband, Ernie, admired his honesty, profound integrity, kindness and exceptional intelligence. He was a very special person in our lives and my eldest grandson, John Jacob Hunter Jakes, proudly carries his name. His mother remembers his kindness from before and after her Dad's death.
It was such a privilege to have known Jacob, Lia and his girls.
