Dear Ms. Bacque and Family: My heartfelt condolences for your loss! I never met James Bacque in person, but after reading his several writings he became very dear to my heart. What meant a lot to me were his writings about Germany, since I was born in 1934 in the City of Kassel, Germany, and lived throughout the terrible World War II and it's aftermath with the terrible starvation years.
James Bacque brought it to light for every one to digest in their minds.
May he rest in peace. God bless his wife and family.

Will always remember our discussions about WWll and seeing you
at the pool after you arrived downing a bathrobe with ties flying in the
wind... a wonderful, unique person.... so happy you were in my life....
