Of Dunwoody, Georgia and Baldwin, New York. Suddenly, but peacefully at 88 years of age on July 26, 1999. Loving husband of Anita for 53 years, cherished father of Elyse Allan (Toronto) and Jim Benson (Stanhope, New Jersey), brother of Margaret Jetter and Ruth Edgerton (both of Chapel Hill, North Carolina). Admired and loved by son-in-law Donald Allan and daughter-in-law Joie Benson. Wonderful grandpa of Stuart Allan, Erin Lee and Jimmy Benson, Megan and Jason Amsler. Predeceased by his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jeffrey Amsler. A kind and gentle man devoted to his wife and family, Dad will be forever with us. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 31st at Sandy Springs Chapel Funeral Directors in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
