BONHAM, James (Jim)
Peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 1998 at the O'Neill Centre in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Vera, loving father of Shirley Lake and her husband Douglas, Glen and his wife Michelle, Joan Tooke and her husband Gerald, David and his daughter-in-law Lucy Saunders. Jim will be fondly remembered by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son John Saunders and by his first wife Violet Bonham. Jim was the last Reeve of Swansea, former Chairman of the Toronto Board of Education and longtime member of Windermere United Church. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. West, Toronto at Windermere near the Jane Subway from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Service at Windermere United Church, 356 Windermere Ave., Toronto on Monday, December 21, 1998 at 1 o'clock. Interment Prospect Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Windermere United Church would be appreciated by the family.
