BROWN, James Julian 'Buster'
Peacefully at home in Burlington, Ontario on Sunday, October 13, 2002. Husband for 42 years of Marcelline (nee O'Mara) Brown, father of James (Marilyn), John and Andrea (Liam) Doherty and grandfather of Tara and Rowan. Brother of Kathleen LaFerte, Helen Brown and the late Muriel, Jack and Arthur Brown. Brother-in-law of Jane Brown, Bishop John O'Mara, Sr. Mechtilde C.S.J., Eleanor Runge, Violet O'Mara and the late James O'Mara and Sr. Winnifred C.S.J. Buster played for the Hamilton Tigercats and the McGill Redmen. He was Chairman of Brown Boggs and served on the Board of the Hamilton Catholic Children's Aid Society, St. Joseph's Villa and HITAC Mohawk College. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New Street (at Walkers Line), Burlington on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. In Buster's memory donations to St. Joseph's Villa, Dundas would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank, especially Yolanda Vanderlaan of S.E.N. and Dr. David Ludwin of Nephrology-St. Joseph's Hospital for their compassionate care.
