JAMES "JIM" LASKEY

(November 23, 2025) Jim has finally stopped telling the doctors they are wrong. A twin to George, ringleader to all three, including Ron and Bill, he spent 25 years climbing GM Canada's corporate ladder, just to prove he could. He went on to run a few different companies before finally joining his son, Jeff, to build 3J Woodworking (mostly so they could hide all of their tools). Raised four fine men (Chris, Paul, Jeff, Bryan). Favourite "bonus dad" to Amanda and Susan. He was predeceased by Emmy, his beloved co-conspirator (she has a scotch waiting for him). Cherished by his grandkids, Paige, Cate, Jack and Sam, who learned early that Grandpa took hiding potato chips quite seriously. Relationships are what made him wealthy. He cashed out rich.
