JAMES G. LIDDELL Peacefully, and surrounded by his family James G Liddell, fondly known as Jim, passed away after a valiant battle with cancer on December 22, 2021 at the age of 66 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, June Liddell. His children Jasmine Liddell, William Liddell (Candice Hunter), Catherine Liddell (Dylan Carquez) and granddaughter Olivia Liddell Whiting. His sisters, Dianne Gurnell (Tim Gurnell), Beverley Muir (Dave Muir) and Jane Liddell (Pam Wedd), as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Cedric and Jean Liddell and his sister Candace Soul. Jim was born April 30, 1955 in the small Ontario town of Walkerton, where he grew up with a strong sense of community and appreciation of nature and adventure. This love of adventure, people and travel led him to Toronto and into a career of International Banking. His successful career in International Sales and Trade Finance spanned over 42 years, with the last nine years at United Overseas Bank Limited, Corporate Banking, Toronto Office. He lived with love, integrity, positivity, curiosity and imagination. His warmth and compassion in all he did make those lucky enough to know him feel truly blessed.
