JAMES KEVIN McKEE McKENZIE On Tuesday, April 28, 2009 James took his own life at his home at the age of 19 years. Beloved son of Lynda and Robert. Brother of Bryan and Kyle. Best friend of Catalina Contreras, Genevieve Ducharme, Elizabeth Manson, Logan Biller and of his canine companion for life, Swifty. Nephew of Debbie and Terri Asunma, Cindy and Richard Rogers and Thomas and Caralisa McKenzie. Grandson of Harry Adam McKenzie and his wife Muriel Ruth Auckland, and John Clayton McKee and his wife Suzanna Evelyn Judge. James was an enthusiastic and honoured member of the Queen's York Rangers and was about to join the regular Armed Forces to ser ve his country with pride. He was an avid and adventurous outdoorsman and a superb white water canoeist. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a caring individual who always held his head high, chest out and his `teeth to the wind'. He was indeed a leader of men who always put the interest of the group ahead of his own. Friends may call at MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill (4th traffic light north of Major Mackenzie Drive) on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 10298 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, on Saturday, May 2, at 1:00pm.
