O'BRIEN, James Richard passed away suddenly at his home in Fonthill, on Monday February 13, 2006, in his 77th year. Predeceased by his brother Reverend William H. O'Brien, CSB. Survived by his wife Maria (Marian), sons Bill (Lucie), James (Susan), John (Amanda) and daughter Mary (Greg); grandchildren Phillipe, Conor, Maureen, Madeline and Gabrielle. Also survived by brothers and sisters Michael, Mary, John, Kathleen, Paul and Tom. Jim was a gradute of University of St. Michael's College, Toronto (1950), retired Latin and Mathematics teacher, Alumni Senate of University of St. Michael's College and retired officer in the Canadian Army (RCA). Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Wednesday February 15th, 2006 at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alexander's Catholic Church, 50 Pelham Town Square (at Station Street) Fonthill, on Thursday Febraury 16th at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. 'Eternal rest grant onto him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.'
