JAMES (JIMMY) DOUGLAS SHIELDS 1956-2022 James Douglas Shields, son of the late John Oatman Shields and Sally Jane Wilson Vihonen, passed away peacefully on December 6 at Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto. He lived life in resourceful and creative ways and is remembered for his warmth, mischievous laughter, sharp wit and love of the North-Temagami, Muskoka and Northwestern Ontario. Jim leaves behind his brother, Bob (Taya) Shields, Nova Scotia; and sisters, Susan (John) Runkle, Iowa, Marnie (Chris) Hudswell, Muskoka; and his nieces and nephews. We wish to thank his friends and family, especially his dear Aunt Frances and Lang cousins, who supported him throughout his life. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Palliative Care team at Bridgepoint, who helped Jimmy in his final weeks. In his memory, please give generously of your heart to those you cherish. Interment will take place on a later date at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
