JAMES SHOTTON Obituary
December 3, 1955 – May 22, 2025 We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of James Andrew Shotton, peacefully, on May 22, 2025, surrounded by close family. Son of James Duncan Shotton and Elizabeth Anne Shotton (née Seale), Jimmy was born and raised in Montreal, QC. For over 30 years, he enjoyed a very successful career as a commercial real estate broker in Ottawa. Jimmy is survived by his devoted wife, Pat; his dear sisters, Barbara and Patty; and many loving family members and friends. With camera in hand (and Pat carrying the lenses), he explored the seven seas and seven continents, returning with award-winning photographs. Jimmy was also a skilled woodworker and wine connoisseur, and lived life to the fullest. At Jimmy's request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at future date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada or the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
