James TROW Obituary

JAMES ALLEN TROW James Allen Trow, age 90, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, July 25, 2021. Born in Stratford, son of the late Rolph and Ila (Allen) Trow. Survived by his two daughters, Carol Trow-Salt (Michael Salt) and Alexis Vanessa Trow. James attended Western University, and Teachers College graduating in 1957, accepted a teacher position in Chatham where he taught mainly history, at John McGregor Secondary school retiring in 1996. Allen spent most every summer at Bogie's Beach, which was more of a home to him. He was an active resident for the Bogie's Beach cottage association. Allen will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Virginia Ings, Ben Trow, Marion Doheny, along with nieces and nephews. Allen was predeceased by his former wife, Dorothy Beadle; his sister, Carol Seaborn (Blair); and his brother-in-law, Norman Ings. In keeping with Allen's wishes, cremation will take place. Mr. Trow was a great teacher and inspired many students over the years in Chatham for me some 60 years ago and then my son about 30 years ago . He respected his students and in turn taught them how to respect others. Bill Holling
