ARTHUR: Jane Learn from yesterday. Love for today. Hope for tomorrow.
Suddenly on Saturday, May, 2004 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto. Elizabeth Jane Arthur beloved eldest daughter of the late Warren and Marguerite Arthur of Inverary, Ontario. Most loved sister of Maryan and her husband Douglas Horne of Inverary, Norma and her husband Heinz Weindler of Virginia, USA and Evelyn Arthur of Toronto. Dear aunt of Pamela Horne, Richard Horne, his wife Selena and their son Aidan. Jane will be sadly missed by many dear relatives and friends. She was a graduate of Sydenham High School and of Queen's University, Kingston. Jane was a retired employee of Bell Canada. She gave her talents to numerous charitable organizations, being a long time member of The Soroptimist Club of Toronto, Bell Pioneers and St. George's Society. Her positive attitude, determination and strength enabled her to enjoy a very active life. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (Counter Street at Highway 2) Kingston. Friends will be received on Friday, May, 7 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Bill Whiston officiating. Interment at Sandhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions made to Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation for Cancer Research (610 University Avenue, Toronto, ON., M5G 2M9 1-416-946-6560).
