JANET AMOS Janet Amos, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on November 15, 2023, leaving a legacy of love, warmth and cherished memories. She was 81 years old at the time of her peaceful departure, surrounded by the love of her family. Janet was known for her grace and resilience, and she shared a beautiful 56-year love story with her husband, Ross Amos, who was the love of her life. They met in Janet's hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, and their love story was filled with laughter, love and unwavering companionship. Janet was a devoted wife and mother, and her family was her life's passion. Janet is survived by her loving husband, Ross; children, Jim and Carolyn; daughter-in-law, Tawnya; son-in-law, Derek; and her brother, Murray. Janet adored her grandchildren, Max, Matthew, Brett and Michael, and her love for them always shone through her sparkling eyes. Janet was an artist who found joy and solace in her creative work. Her paintings were a testament to her creative spirit and the beauty she saw in the world. Janet was a generous and loving person, and she formed meaningful connections with friends and community members. Her warm and welcoming nature made her a beloved figure in the lives of many. She had great friends all over Canada, especially in Calgary and Toronto/Mississauga. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Janet's life at a visitation on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., and a memorial service on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., both at Turner & Porter, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga.
