PRINCE, Janet Cowan
(nee Stewart) Passed away peacefully in
Kingston, on January 26, 2014,
in her 85th year. Predeceased by
her dear husband Walter, in
2005. Beloved mother of Judith
Walker (Ross) of Kingston,
Ontario, and Stewart (Mary) of
Oxford, Michigan. 'Gran' will be
sadly missed by her
grandchildren, Andrew, Emily
and Fraser Walker; Matthew and
Jack Prince. Janet will be
lovingly remembered by her
sister Margery Cranford of
Toronto, and brother-in-law Jack
Prince (Elaine) of Ottawa. . . . as
well as her nephews, their
families, and many cherished
friends. Born in Chatham,
Ontario, Janet attended the
University of Western Ontario,
graduating in Secretarial
Sciences, in 1952. After working
in Toronto, she married Walter in
1956, and they settled in
Windsor, Ontario, where he
started up his law practice and
raising a young family became
her full-time job. Windsor was
home for 56 years. As a life-long
cottager at Oliphant, Ontario, on
the shores of Lake Huron, a
private family celebration of her
life will be held at her cottage
this summer. In lieu of flowers,
