JANICE DUFF Obituary
(née Guy, July 14, 1945 - February 27, 2026) With immense love and gratitude, we share that Jan has passed away peacefully surrounded by family and a full life of love from innumerable friends and colleagues. As with all she did Jan left us on her own terms with MAID after a life well lived. Born in Tiny Township, Ontario, Jan spent her earliest years in Midland where later in life she made annual visits to fondly retrace those times. Jan devoted years to Parkinson's Research and mentored nurses in Parkinson's clinics across Canada and the United States. Recipient of Mimi Feutl Award and the Queen's Jubilee, Jan was also a regional director of Make-A-Wish Foundation. Jan is survived by sons, Jason Speers (Andrea) and Adam Speers (Tammy) and her 9 grandchildren; as well as her sister, Lyn Guy. Jan was predeceased by Harry Grenville Duff. Respecting Jan's wishes, there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date. Memorial donations may be made in Jan's name to Parkinson's Research Canada and Make-AWish Foundation Canada.
