Janine and Sybil asked me to play in their group in the old fireplace lounge at the Granite Club over 15 years ago when I was starting out playing.
I have enjoyed Janine's company over many years since then particularly across the table.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Louis and their family too.

I am still in shock over Janine´s passing. For sure she was competitive, but always in a friendly manner. We had knee replacements on the same day this past August. We compared notes almost daily to see who was recovering faster. Janine was very supportive of my efforts , but I was continually a little behind. The last time that I called , Janine, in her usual friendly way, said she was in the hospital this time for something different. I had no idea how serious it was. I will miss Janine and our ever enjoyable banter very much.

Heartfelt condolences to Louis and the girls.
