On Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Janine Leibtog, beloved wife and best friend of Sheldon. Loving mother of Mark and Brian, and loving mother-in-law of Kari. Dearest twin sister of Lynne and partner Jon, sister of Michael and sister-in-law of Mahra, and best sister-in-law of Gail, Alan, and Barry and Lynda. Devoted Grandma of Alex. Special aunt to Andries. Janine was the epitome of selflessness. She would help others, even if it was to her detriment. She was fiercely loyal to her family. She had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (three lights west of Dufferin), for service on Tuesday, May 14th at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Pardes Chaim Cemetery. So sorry for your loss. Janine was a wonderful teacher to our son Jonathan. We also enjoyed a lot of time together attending the same gym. We also compared notes together during our treatments. We will always remember Janine for her kindness and her stoicism. You will be forever missed dearest Janine. Condolences to the family on such a devastating loss
