JEAN MARY DOWNIE

Jean passed away peacefully from this world on December 14, 2025. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Florence Helen Telford Downie and Andrew Downie, brother Alec, sister-in-law Betty and nephew Stephen. She is survived by nephew Michael Downie, niece Alison Downie and her daughters, Anastasia, Olivia and Sofia. Her family and treasured friendships brought much joy to her life. A funeral service will be held at St. James the Less Chapel, in the grounds of St. James Cemetery, 635 Parliament Street, Toronto, on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow at St. James Cathedral Centre Event Venue, Snell Hall, 65 Church Street.
