Jean Katherine RIDOUT

JEAN KATHERINE RIDOUT NOVEMBER 28, 1931 ­ OCTOBER 23, 2009 Jean passed away peacefully in Vancouver after a long illness. Raised in Reading, England, she was a loving wife to John Ridout for 56 years, mother of Sue (Bruce Mohun), Nick (Tracey Eyben), and Lisa (Ben McPeek). Grandmother of Claire and Hannah Mohun; Tyler and Shawn Ridout; Benjamin, Nicholas and Liam McPeek; Lindsay and Justin Eyben. Elegant and witty, Jean was a gourmet cook, an ardent supporter of Canadian artisans, and loved her rose gardens. She was wellknown for always emerging from the kitchen with fabulous food, and driving as if she were on a Formula One racetrack. Her smile was partnered by a twinkle in her eye that lit up many a room in her lifetime. Happy Birthday Mum, we love you very much.
