JEFFREY ISHIBASHI Obituary
(December 8, 1974 – May 8, 2025) Dr. Jeffrey "Jeff" Miki Ishibashi, PhD, died suddenly, in a biking traffic accident in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 8, 2025. Jeff was born December 8, 1974, in Hamilton. Son of Barbara of Ottawa and Robert of Hamilton; brother of Brent of Ottawa (Suzy); and uncle of Kirin and Kendra. He attended the University of Guelph and the University of Ottawa. He worked at the University of Pennsylvania at the time of his death. Jeff is survived by aunts, Jane Burnett and Joyce Kenno; uncle, Ron Ishibashi; and cousins, Kyle Kenno, Martin Kenno, and Michelle Burnett. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Carmen's Event Centre, 1520 Stone Church Road East, Hamilton, Ontario, from 1-3 p.m. Please join the family to share your memories in an informal setting. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations to a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated.

Dear Barb, my sincere sympathy in the loss of your son Jeff. Although I did not know him I can only offer heartfelt condolences and hope your good memories help you through this time. I wish I could attend today to speak with you personally but sadly have another memorial in Oakville at the same time. Stay well and strong.
