Jeffrey PELLER Obituary

JEFFREY MARK PELLER May 11, 1964 - November 9, 2021 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Jeff, who passed away of a sudden cardiac event at his home, Sweetgrass Equestrian Center, in Halton Hills, Ontario. A member in good standing with the Canadian Actors Equity Association, and the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), Jeff was the former Artistic Director of the Actors Studio of Canada. His artistic resume included many productions in which he acted, directed, and produced to rave reviews. Jeff was also a marathon runner, and, on October 11, 2021, he completed his 7th Boston Marathon. He ran in support of his beloved mother Connie (1929 - May 2013) raising hundreds of thousands of dollars as part of the Alzheimer's team. This was a cause very near and dear to his heart. Jeff's passion was horseback riding. He achieved his lifelong dream of designing, building, and managing a world class equestrian center with the help and support of his cherished fiancé Tiffany Nanchin. Through their hard work, Sweetgrass has become the premiere boarding facility in Ontario. In addition, Sweetgrass has now partnered with Science of Motion as an international center to further equine knowledge. Most recently, Jeff and Tiffany had incorporated Canadian Hay Distributors and Jeff was very excited to see this new venture come to fruition. Jeff competed in many Hunter/Jumper and Steeplechase events over the years, but he especially loved riding his beloved horses, Presley and Cosmo, through the Dundas Valley. Jeff loved life and lived it to the fullest. His compassion and generosity touched so many. He will be fondly remembered for being loving, kind, generous, trusting, positive, exuberant, humorous, and wonderfully fun. Jeff leaves behind his beloved partner in life, Tiffany Nanchin. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe (2016) and Connie (2013). The youngest of six siblings, Jeff will be dearly missed by his brothers, Joe Jr., Gus (Cathy), John (Diane), Jim (Ruth-Anne), and his sister, Lori (Bill). He was an adored Uncle to Danielle (Dan), Justine (Jeff), Joey, Jenny (Ian), Johnny, Jordan, Grayden, Jacob, Emma-Lee, Cody, James, Andrew, Nikki, and Randi, and an adored Great Uncle to Audrey, Annabel, Lena, Veda, Gus, Aria, Theo, Lainey, and Cali. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Memorial Donations may be made to Jeff's favourite charity, the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

My deepest sympathy to the Peller family.
I worked with Jeff at Chrysler Dodge in Richmond Hill and spent time with him outside of work. Heard him sing and loved his humor and personality. I called him Peller and he called me Graham. I just found out today that he died, so very sad. I know Lisa but not Tiffany and my sincere condolences to Tiffany. Jeff was so funny, great man and the world is a little smaller without Jeff. I want to say God Speed Peller from Graham. I remember you. XO

Was very sad to hear of Jeff's passing. I had the pleasure of working in a couple of Theatre Erebus productions with Jeff in the early 90's in Hamilton and Toronto. I will always remember him as a passionate and generous person, both on-stage and off. My condolences to the family.

Jeff was hilarious- great sense of humor. I knew Jeff in our first year at University of Western Ontario.
One of my favorite memories of Jeff was that our residence had a small fire and you could see some flames coming out of the window. As we were exiting the building in the middle of winter, there was a song playing very loudly in the background. "Burning Down the House". At a time where everyone was panicking, Jeff managed to turn the anxiety and stress into something that we all laughed about for a very long time. My condolences to the family. RIP Buddy

Jeff was effervescent joyous, good-natured, thoughtful and an incredibly gifted man of humourous wit and friendly yet competitive spirit. I was shocked to hear about your family's sudden loss of such a giant beautiful spirit of a man. I looked up to Jeff as a junior football player in high school. He was a true kind leader with a tremendous gift and ability to make people feel important and appreciated. This rare quality made Jeff such a special person to his loving wife. I know he will always be near your heart to comfort and cheer you in times of sadness forever. I know with confidence that Jeff always would want You to be happy. He will be fondly remembered always in our hearts. Goodbye Jeff but only just for now.

I wish to offer my sincere thoughts, prayers & condolences to Tiffany and the Peller Family. I studied under Jeff for many years...he inspired me to do, to be and to live. We shared many a glass and many a laugh. May all those who knew Jeff, reflect his light to shine on to all who did not. God Speed, old Friend - I will remember you, always.

I had the honour and privilege to meet Mr. Jeffery Peller on his visit to The Wine Shop, Milton. I found him to be a very humble and down to earth person.

May God grant his family and siblings the strength to bear this irreparable loss.

Ruth and I remember with some fun, and a lot of interest, our time working with Jeff on The Actor's Studio. Jeff was a passionate guy where the arts were concerned and complete with the requisite stories. Tiffany, our thoughts are with you. John and family, you shared a family member who loved and lived life to the fullest. We know he will be missed.
