Jeremy Brown Obituary
Jeremy John Fisher Brown
Jeremy John Fisher Brown The Brown family sorrowfully announces the death, due to the complications of Parkinson's disease, of broadcaster, journalist and publisher, Jeremy John Fisher Brown on Monday, October 18, 2004 at Whitby.
Conceived by Doctors George Gordon and Helen Elizabeth Fisher Brown whilst residing amongst the Wahehe tribe in Tanganyika. Thus began a life of adventure and passion.
He loved, oh my how he loved (not in any particular order): eating a grand meal with a fine wine; his dogs, Heppner singing Nessun dorma, good conversation, the triumphal march from Aida, his progeny, the adrenalin rush of meeting deadlines with a scoop, meeting with his colleagues after work, a perfect pun, his brother, his wife, a light read with Dick Francis, Terry Fox, The Garden of the Finzi-Continis, grassy green swards, diaphanous maidens with jewel encrusted navels, underdogs and sharing with every person he met.
Loved and already missed by his wife Brenna, his children Stephanie, Karl and Jonathan, Daughters in law Leta and Tania and his grandchildren Hunter, Katie, Gemma, William and Nicholas, .as well as his brother, George, and his wife Nora and their family.
Visitation on Thursday, October 21st 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Oshawa Funeral Service 847 King Street West in Oshawa. A private family service will be followed with a public memorial service within the month. Details to be announced. No flowers please, donations to Lakeridge Health Centre and the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada.
For the record, Jeremy threw right and batted left.
