JERRY GERBEN VANDERWAL

(May 26, 1949 - February 4, 2025) Jerry Gerben Vanderwal, although born in the Netherlands, was very much Irish at heart. Family and home were his priorities. Gatherings of the clan - family and friends were the high points of his days. Predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Willy-Marie; and sister, Wilma (Herb). Jerry is fondly remembered by his wife, Charmian; his children, Morgan and Jessica Vanderwal, and Jessica McGrath; and by extended family, Melanie Dubord; siblings, Frits (Sandra), John (Diane), and Henny (David); nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Life was full of involvement in scouts, swimming, diving, soccer, and softball. If Jerry wasn't participating, he was cheering the kids on; always encouraging them to do their best. And have fun! His work in sales garnered the same intensity. Do your best; give your all; make sure the customer has what they want and need to help their businesses grow. Jerry's passing has left a profound void in the lives of everyone that he interacted with. He would not want us to mourn his passing; but celebrate his life and all he brought to those of us lucky enough to know him.
