Jerzy KOLACZ Obituary
JERZY KOLACZ 70. An artist, illustrator, teacher at OCAD, member of the RCA, lost his battle with cancer on Monday, June 15th, 2009 at OakvilleTrafalgar Memorial Hospital. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Art in Warsaw, Poland in 1962, Jerzy's artistic career spanned nearly 50 years. His work has been exhibited extensively throughout Europe, North America, and Asia and is part of private and public collections. His love of life and people permeated his work with energy and imagination. No words can describe how very much Jerzy was loved and how deeply he will be missed by his wife Eva Kolacz, son Peter and his wife Ida, grandchildren P.J. and Emma, step-daughter Patty and her husband Pete, mother-in-law Anna, sister-in-law Krystyna, nieces Kamilla, Joanna, nephew Benedykt and many friends whose lives he has touched. Mass: Tuesday, June 23rd at 5:30 p.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 4260 Cawthra Road, Mississauga.
