Jill MAX Obituary
MAX, Jill Dianne
August 10, 1958 - July 27, 2012 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a courageous and strong woman. Jill died on July 27, 2012 after a long and hard fought battle with leukemia. Jill was a loving and well loved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and friend to so many. She leaves in mourning her parents, Ruth Max and Jack Max, her husband Michael Taylor, her children Christopher Taylor and Matthew Taylor, her sisters Jody Beattie (Robert Beattie) and Jennifer Gloin (Greg Gloin). A cherished aunt to her nieces Emma Beattie, Leah Gloin, Ailey Jarvis and Martine Saldsman; and to her nephews Andrew Beattie, Jake Gloin, Ben Jarvis and Jason Saldsman. A daughter-in-law to David Taylor (Joan Timbrell) and sister-in-law to Nancy Jarvis (Brian Jarvis) and Caroline Saldsman (Farryl Saldsman). Jill will be remembered for her genuine and contagious laugh, her sense of fun and wisdom, her love and respect of family, her commitment to her colleagues and loyalty to her friends - we all share in the tremendous loss of a very special woman. A very heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at Princess Margaret Hospital and Mount Sinai ICU. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Friends and family are welcome to join us in a celebration of Jill's life on Friday August 10 from 2:00 - 4:30 PM at The Old Mill Inn, 21 Old Mill Road, Toronto.
