MORSE, Joan (nee Henshaw)
Born September 18, 1933, Joan died at home in Thornhill, December 10, 2007. Treasured by her husband Peter and children: Michael (Heather Nicol); Janet (Darren Larsen); and Jonathan (Ginette Fisher). Adored by her grandchildren Graeme, Lauren, Kathryn, Jeremy and Andrew. Sister to Bill, Lillian and Kathleen. She had a caring extended family, as well as a wide and wonderful circle of friends who comforted and supported Joan and her family during her illness.
Known for her enthusiasm, sincere respect for others and infectious, uninhibited laughter, Joan had an amazing capacity to cope with life's challenges.
Visitation on Friday, December 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (140 Brooke Street, Thornhill), on Saturday morning, December 15, 2007 at 11 o'clock. Interment, Thornhill Cemetery at a later date.
