O'CONNOR, Joan Patricia
Quietly, at home, on Friday, November 23, 2001, in Burlington, Ontario. Dearly loved wife of Tony. Loving mother of Paul, Karen, Sandra, Mark and Philip. Also the grandmother of seven and the great-grandmother of one newly born infant boy. She died quietly in the presence of her family, after a short, but feisty battle with cancer. She is fondly and lovingly remembered by her family and daughter-in-law Sandy, son-in-law Stal, brothers-in-law Eric, Kevin and Bob, and by sisters-in-law Bernadette, Claire and her foster sister Joyce, as well as many caring friends in Canada, Ireland, Europe, United States, Australia and New Zealand. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of Q.E.W.), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New Street (east of Walker's Line), Burlington, on Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
