SMART, Joan Madeleine
Died peacefully on June 3, 2008, aged 96, at Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC.
Joan was predeceased by her husband, George and daughter Joan; survived by her three daughters Mary, daughters Joanne, Karen and Lorraine, Joan's son Jonathan, Jane, sons Andrew and Rod, Ann and Pete, son Graham and Black lab Dana, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great friends.
Her long life was one of service to others - her ever extending family, her Church, and the Girl Guide movement.
A service of thanksgiving for this remarkable life will be held at Christ Church Cathedral on Thursday June 19 at 7 pm. Parking Pass available at www.cathedral.vancouver.ca or call 604 682 3848 for more information.
Flowers gratefully declined or better yet give a bouquet to someone you love and tell them how you feel.
