JOAN (RIDPATH) YULE May 19, 1936 - May 23, 2022 It is with profound sadness and grateful memories that we share the peaceful passing of Joan. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, David; her children, Karen and Bruce (Lynn); and her grandchildren, Alexander, Colin, Evan, and Finn. Joan was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Elsie Ridpath and her twin brother, John. Joan had many friends from her school years at Bishop Strachan School and the University of Western Ontario. She enjoyed her early career as an interior designer at Ridpath's, her family business and was an active volunteer with the Junior League of Toronto. In her later years she became an avid bridge player. Joan loved the northern wilderness. She spent several summers as a camper and staff member at Camp Wapomeo. She was an enthusiastic cottager enjoying her summers at Canoe Lake and Key Harbour and her winters at Hidden Valley Huntsville. Joan enjoyed skiing, sailing, curling, and canoe tripping. She was fortunate to travel from the Arctic to the Antarctic and many spots in between.
