FREDDA JOANNE OLIVIER
FREDDA JOANNE OLIVIER (nee Granat) April 21st 1946 – October 29th 2004 Fredda passed away at home with family and friends by her side. Beloved Mother of Jessica (Derek), sister of Halina (Russell Moch), and loving partner of Gordon Laschinger. Fredda was predeceased by her husband Kearney. She will also be missed by her nephews Lawrence (Jennifer) Moch, Stephen (Kathy) Moch, and John (Sue) Granat, and by her nieces Suzanne (Paul Gri), and Karen (Kevin Scanlan). The Boyd family and a few close neighbours with whom Fredda had a special bond will also miss her dearly. Fredda was the proud and successful president of Psycan Corporation, where she greatly valued the loyalty and support of her exceptional staff. She was a dedicated member of The Bloomers and the Marie Curie Society. Fredda especially appreciated the warmth and compassion of everyone during the course of her illness. She will be sadly missed and wonderfully remembered by all. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, at Windermere, east of the Jane subway, on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday 8:15 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Joan of Arc Church, 1701 Bloor Street West, on Monday, November 1, 2004 at 1 p.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In Fredda's memory donations to the William Osler Health Centre, for Ovarian Cancer Research.
