JOANNE MARGARET JENKINS It is difficult to encapsulate the rare nature of our cherished Joanne Margaret Jenkins. The vibrancy of her warmth, kindness, wisdom and pure generosity left a profound impression on those fortunate enough to belong in her extensive community of loved ones. With a childhood spent travelling the world, Joanne was afforded a unique perspective at a very young age, creating an unparalleled level of compassion and love for people, animals, and the environment. An exceptional artist, adored teacher, devoted friend, and profoundly loving mother, Joanne will be missed immensely. It is with great sadness that we announce her passing on January 23, 2021, though she remains with us through the many lives she changed as a revered teacher and friend. She is remembered by her children Tristan and Frida Jenkins-Roe, their father Brent Roe, her brothers Nicolas and Christopher Jenkins and his wife Ann, her partner Ted Snell, and countless treasured friends and colleagues.
