John FITZHENRY Obituary
JOHN FITZHENRY 1932 - 2022 John passed away peacefully on January 27, 2022, at Campbellford Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. Second son of Joseph and Lilian. Husband to Judith, father to Adrienne (Patrick) and to Marc. Grandfather to Kristen. Brother to Gerry, his wife, Betty and their family. Younger brother to Maureen and husband, Bill Helps (both deceased) and their family, Ellen and John. Older brother to Larry, his wife, Anne, and their family. John brought Fitz-Henri Fine Foods to Bayview Village Centre in 1965 and a love of good cheese, good food and gourmet items to North York for four decades. He had tenure on the board of the Specialty Food Association, and the warm regard of his many loyal customers.

I was putting mustard on a sandwich, Judy..,and I remembered with great fondness and respect my years with Fitz-Henri's in North York. You and John helping me out in the early Seventies with much needed employment...,and so much more...,those were happy times. All the best to you and the family. Goodbye, John...,you are missed.

John was a warm and kind person. I remember as a relative of a relative, his kindnesses to me as a very young person. He will be remembered well beyond his loving family for a well-lived life.
