John Forbes Flett 1918 - 2010 Passed away peacefully at the age of 91, on Wednesday January 6th, 2010 at North York General Hospital with his beloved wife, Priscilla by his side.
John was born May 13th, 1918. He grew up in St. Catherine's, attended North Toronto High School and graduated from the University of Toronto in chemical engineering in 1942. He achieved recognition in his career for sulphuric acid plant redesign.
John is lovingly remembered by his wife Priscilla, 3 children Sherry, Stephen, Kathy and his 5 grandchildren Alexander, Erin, James, Jason and Michaela. Friends may call at the Trull 'North Toronto' Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 2704 Yonge Street (5 blocks south of Lawrence) on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. Cremation to follow, and later, John will be laid to rest at St. James Cemetery in Toronto.
