November 6, 1930 – January 5, 2026 John Oliver Hart passed away peacefully January 5, 2026, age 95. Beloved husband of Doris Hart (née Morton) for 72 years. Loving father of Ray (Nancy), Susan (Brad), Lynn (Jim), Karen, and Cheryl (Rim); proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Predeceased by his parents, Enos and Edna Hart; and brothers, W. Ray and Bob Hart. Survived by sister, Elaine Holden and brother, David Hart. Funeral Friday, January 16, 2026, 1:00 p.m., Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville. Visitation Thursday, January 15th, 5–7 p.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada

John was always an adventurer. He went to Africa where he and Doris were missionaries for many years. When he returned from Africa he became a teacher. Then after some years he went into real estate. He lived a long fruitful life. Although I didn't see him lately, I thought of him often and prayed for him.
