JOHN DAVID KASTNER April 6, 1946 - November 21, 2019 You were wondrous. A miracle. So talented, so brilliant, so passionate, so silly, so loving, so beyond compare. So full of life and mischief and boundless creativity it was impossible to think it would ever end. A year ago it did. A loss so fierce it was impossible to think life could go on without you. For your friends and colleagues, for the forgotten who opened their lives and hearts in your sublime documentaries. You were the champion of their humanity. Most of all for your adored and adoring family, and for me who shared your life and your love for so many joy-filled years. Your compassion made the world a better place, your smile lit up hearts, your generosity of spirit was an inspiration. There will never be another like you. Our lives will never be the same. Our broken hearts ache for you. And I must learn to live again without my beloved "bear" by my side. But you are in my heart and my soul, always and forever. Susan Teskey and Kastner Family.
