LEBOLDUS, John Michael
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 1999, in the General Hospital, Regina, Saskatchewan, in his 94th year. He was predeceased by his first wife Hannah in 1962, infant son Alan Lorne in 1935, his parents, Anton and Melonia LeBoldus, his three sisters, Frances, Margaret and Mary, his three brothers, Martin, Anthony and Michael, and his son-in-law Grant Bouey. He is survived by his loving wife Olive, three daughters, Joey (Walter) Kelm of Aylmer, Quebec, Terry (Earl) Cummings of Carman, Manitoba, and Leona Bouey of Regina, and two sons, Leon Edwin (Leah) of Ottawa, Ontario, and John (Lorraine) of Calgary, Alberta, seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Bettyann LeBoldus of Stittsville, Ontario and numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends. A postmaster for forty-two years, he served in various capacities of the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Postmasters and Assistants Association for thirteen years and as National President of the Association for six years. The funeral mass, conducted by the Reverend K. Miller, and by concelebrants, Reverend B. Leboldus, and Reverend A. Dizy, on February 27, 1999, in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church was followed by internment in the Riverside Memorial Park, Regina, Saskatchewan.
