(1947 - 2026) Dr. John Edward Lundy, 78, of Toronto, died peacefully on March 4, 2026, surrounded by his adoring family in the Palliative Care Unit at Bridgepoint Hospital. He was the adoring husband of 55 years to Aileen (née Teevens), and a loving father to Liz (Dave), Catherine (Farid), and John (Maja). He was a doting grandfather to Amelia, Sam, Lila, Adam and Kian. Beloved son of Doris and John Joseph, brother of Frances (Peter), Mary Anne, Loretta, and brother-in-law of Maureen. John was a respected academic, researcher and educator at Laurentian University, Nipissing University, Lasalle Secondary School (Sudbury), St. Charles Secondary School (Sudbury) and École Secondaire de Hanmer.
