Dr. John Angus MacLean
July 18, 1918 - November 9, 2015
Dr. John Angus MacLean passed away peacefully at the Markham-Stouffville Hospital on November 9, 2015. He was 97 years old.
John was a respected Paediatrician, Medical Director of Bloorview Hospital, served as a Captain during World War II and a long-term member of the Rotary Club of Toronto Eglinton.
Lovingly remembered by his children, Hope, Robert, Ann LeLiever (nee MacLean deceased) and Christopher MacLean; his stepdaughter, Deborah Grant Benton and his grandchildren, Jason and Matthew LeLiever and Jennifer MacLean.
Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Betty Tilley (nee MacLean), Jessie, Jean, Rod and Bruce MacLean and by his first wife, Margaret MacLean; his second wife, Kathleen Seymour Grant MacLean and his companion, Wendy Reddy.
In lieu of flowers, a donation on behalf of Dr. John MacLean may be sent to the Rotary Club of Toronto Eglinton (Foundation).
A memorial visitation will be held at the Morley Bedford Funeral Services, 159 Eglinton Ave. West, Toronto, Ontario on Sunday, November 15th, from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
